Les Vieilles Charrues, a musical institution

There is no need to introduce the Vieilles Charrues, the largest music festival in France. The event is the pride of Brittany and the 2018 edition promises even more magic!

Every year, more than 250,000 music lovers head for the Monts d'Arrée mountains, where they unpack their bags for four days. The exact site is in Kerampuilh in Carhaix-Plouguer, in the depths of the Finistère department, which has been hosting the most mythical festival of Brittany since 1992: Les Vieilles Charrues. Over 20 years, Miossec, Nougaro, James Brown, the Blues Brothers, Massive Attack, Pierre Perret, Joe Cocker, Patti Smith, 2ManyDJs and The Cure have paraded on the three stages, gradually building the identity of this festival at once convivial and eclectic, and appealing to all generations.

Pop, rock, French and electronic music stars will entertain you at this great summer event that brings festive moments to the lucky holders of 4-day passes. Jérôme Tréhorel, the event's general manager, is already promising that the 27th edition will be “colourful and taking you over the world”. Are you ready?
